Our 24mm 3 Strand Pre-Coiled Manila Rope makes a distinctive alternative to the traditional timber balustrade for your garden decking.

Please Note : When hanging the rope between posts, we recommend you allow an extra 10% length to compensate for this. When drilling holes in posts for rope, we recommend allowing up to 5mm more than the diameter of the rope.

Strength and Durability

Manila rope is exceptionally strong and durable. It has a high tensile strength, making it capable of withstanding heavy loads and rough handling. This makes it ideal for various applications, including shipping, construction, and heavy-duty industrial use.

The natural fibers of Manila rope are resistant to abrasion and wear, ensuring longevity even in demanding environments. It performs well in harsh conditions, maintaining its integrity better than many synthetic alternatives.

As a natural fiber, 24mm 3 Strand Manila Rope is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. It decomposes naturally without leaving harmful residues, making it a sustainable choice compared to synthetic ropes, which can contribute to pollution and environmental degradation.

The 24mm Manila Rope offers excellent flexibility and ease of handling. You can easily knot and splice it, making it beneficial for various practical applications. Its texture provides a good grip, reducing the risk of slippage.

Pre Coiled Manila rope offers moderate resistance to ultraviolet (UV) rays and heat, which helps maintain its strength and appearance when exposed to sunlight and high temperatures. This property is particularly useful for outdoor applications.

With its natural, rustic look, Manila rope is often used in decorative and artistic applications. It adds a touch of natural beauty and authenticity to landscaping, interior design, and craft projects.

Manila rope proves highly versatile and serves a wide range of industries. In maritime settings, people use it for ship rigging and dock lines. In construction, it helps lift and secure materials. In agriculture, it works well for binding and also fencing. Additionally, in sports and recreation, it is popular for climbing ropes and obstacle courses.
