We are really proud to announce the launch of the latest addition to our Garden Fence Panel range, the Professional Closeboard Fence Panel. This super strong top of the range fence panel benefits from several features that make it, in our opinion, one of the best fence panels on the market.
The Professional Closeboard Fence Panel Is Constructed Using 19 Boards
Firstly our Professional Closeboard Fence Panels are constructed using nineteen 125mm wide featheredge boards (where the industry standard is eighteen). This means that each board is overlapped by on average 28mm. This greater overlap reduces the likely-hood of gaps opening up in your panel.
Extra Thick Rails Increase Storm Damage Resistance
The horizontal framing has been increased to 75mm x 32mm. This will substantially increase the panel’s resistance to storm damage, making it an ideal choice for exposed areas, or places that are subject to regular wind damage.
Each Board in our Professional Closeboard Fence Panel is Double Nailed
Each featheredge board is double nailed to every rail using 38mm zinc plated coil nails. This makes the boards harder to remove, and in turn, increases the security provided by our Professional Closeboard Fence Panels.
A Chunky Capping Rail Finishes The Panel
Our chunky 50mm x 22mm capping rail will help to encourage water run-off. This will reduce the chance of rot forming on the top of the Professional Closeboard Fence Panel. The capping will also increase the overall strength of the panel.
Our Professional Closeboard Panels are supplied pressure treated with Tanatone. This will enhance the style and help protect the timber from insect infestation, fungal decay and rot. As the timber is exposed to weather conditions it may fade over time. Further staining is recommended to enhance the appearance of the product if this occurs.
Please Note: Tanatone pressure treated timber has a built-in colouration and depending on the timber species the treatment colour may vary slightly.
