About our Green Arris Rail

Our 75mm x 75mm pressure treated Green Arris Rail is ideal for building a continuous run of featheredge fencing on timber posts. They will slot directly into a notched timber post, or can be fixed to square timber posts using an arris rail bracket.

Slot them directly into a notched timber post. Fix them to square timber posts with an arris rail bracket.

We also supply our arris rails pressure treated, known as Tanatone. This treatment also enhances style and protects timber from insects and fungal decay as well as rot. The timber may fade over time due to weather exposure. We recommend further staining to enhance the product’s appearance if fading occurs.

Please Note: Tanatone pressure treated timber has a built-in colouration and depending on the timber species, colour may vary slightly.

Log Selection

Selecting natural resources carefully is also  crucial for creating successful products. We also hand-select all raw materials to suit the intended components. Each component must then come from the appropriate section of log, ensuring the highest quality. In the ‘green mill,’ we saw the logs into rectangular shapes. Here, the logs are fully saturated, and the saws leave a rough surface, tearing out some fibers.

Next, we season the timber by removing much of its moisture. Finally, we machine the seasoned products to give them smooth or shaped surfaces.

Our 4″ galvanised nails are ideal for securing your arris rails. You can find them in Fencing Accessories, or by clicking HERE.
