About our Slatted Fence Panel
Made from selected softwoods, our Slatted Fence Panel is a high-quality decorative continental fence panel.
Panel width: 1800mm
Framing: 45mm x 55mm with planed & rounded edges
Slats: 14mm x 45mm with 10mm gaps & planed & rounded edges
We manufacture our Slatted Fence Panel from carefully selected softwood, encasing it in a morticed framework. We also secure the panels with stainless steel fixings.
Please note: If you need a panel that’s a full 6ft wide (1828mm), include a note with your order asking for infill strips. We’ll then deliver them for free. We’ll also attach them to each side of the fence panel to make it an imperial 6ft wide.
All our decorative panels are pressure treated, except for our Hazel Hurdles. This treatment enhances style and helps protect timber from insect infestation, fungal decay, and rot. However, exposure to weather can cause timber to fade over time. If this occurs, you should also re-stain the product to maintain its appearance.
Please Note: Tanalised pressure-treated timber has a built-in colouration and depending on the timber species the treatment colour may vary slightly.
Log Selection
Using natural resources requires careful selection to create successful products. We actually hand-pick all materials to suit specific components, ensuring they come from the best part of the log and use high-quality materials.
At the ‘green mill,’ workers saw logs into rectangular shapes, often resulting in rough surfaces because the saturated fibers get torn. If the timber needs seasoning, we dry it to remove moisture before machining it for smooth or shaped finishes.
Our
Panel Clips are ideal for securing your Decorative Fence Panel.
